Beauty No. 2

As promised, every few days I'll be sharing a few of my favorite beauty buys. Today's post features a few of my favorite sprays for great summer hair. My faves range in price point to cover all the bases and include finds from Ulta to Neiman Marcus. Getting the salt water tousled hair look isn't natural for all of us, but these products lend the much needed extra hand to make it happen.

Not Your Mothers Clean Freak Dry Shampoo :: $5.99

If you get a little lazy every now and again (and we all do) or you're in a rush, I promise you won't find a better drug store dry shampoo!! At less than $10 a bottle you won't regret giving this stuff a try! I find mine at Ulta but I know there are lots of retailers carrying it. It absorbs excess oils, cleans without water (PEN doesn't believe in that) and gives your hair a light matte finish. For me, its the perfect product to spray before using my curling wand to give myself those perfect beach waves. 

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray :: $42.00

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have an unhealthy addiction to this stuff. In all honestly, I'm a big supporter of Oribe products in general, but this is my absolute favorite! You will see this product on the top of many Beauty Award lists, as it deserves to be. Its higher price tag is worth every penny. The texturizing spray gives you bigger, better, glam hair. It provides you with tons of volume and a perfect texture.  Not to mention, it smells amazing too!! 

Fekkai Summer Hair Beach Waves :: $25.00

Well, I'm super bummed to report that as I was searching for a link to give you, I learned this product has been discontinued. Due to the price point, I use this product sparingly and I guess that's a good thing because it's not easy to pick up anymore. I did find it on Ebay and Amazon, but its no longer sold at major retailers!! So sorry for the tease.  But if you are interested in giving it a try, it creates the perfect beachy texture by hydrating while blocking moisture loss for an easy tousled look. Although I didn't include a pic, I do use Organix Moroccan Sea Salt Spray everyday that I'm not using the spray in the image above. As an added bonus, its only $7.99 at Ulta or other major retailers like CVS and Target.

Bumble and bumble Surf Spray  :: $26.00

Another product hitting tons of best sellers list is, Bumble and bumble's surf spray. As part of a full surf collection, this stuff is no joke. As the product label perfectly reads, this stuff is made to create sexy, beachy, windswept hair. If thats what you're looking for, this is the product for you. You can tell an immediate difference in the feel of your hair after just a few sprays. For my fine hair, this product adds a lot of texture with just the right amount of salt grit without making your hair oily and heavy. I will be honest, it does make your hair a bit sticky but in the best way possible.... like in a you actually just got out of the ocean kind of way! This stuff has been a go to product for my summer hair for many years now. Give it a try!!
